You’re in the thick of the 2017-2018 hockey season!

Grammy and I love going to your games, seeing your progress. It’s always fun talking about the highlights and lowlights after the game.  It’s such a “cool” game, literally and figuratively.  We bundle up – especially at Jackson’s Landing where it’s legendarily freezing.

I can’t imagine doing what you do – standing on and zipping about on a thin blade on slippery ice.  I talked about my childhood skating abilities in the blog I wrote when you turned 10.  I called what I did “ankle skating.”  It was pathetic and sadly funny.

Go get ’em Camden, you’re doing great – I envy your abilities and are darned proud of what you can do
