Ahhhh, baseball.\u00a0 No sport represents summer better.<\/p>\n

During the coldest, cruelest months of winter, major league baseball Spring training arrives, pitchers and catchers report to duty and our memory banks are instantly flooded with memories of ‘play ball’ visors over our eye days.<\/p>\n

When warmer weather finally breaks through in April and May, New England springs (literally) to life and everyone<\/em> smiles a lot easier. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Baseball is the<\/em> harbinger of summer.<\/p>\n

Did I smile easier when you started playing baseball today?\u00a0 Did I enjoy sitting in my chair watching my athletic grandson enthusiastically begin a new season?\u00a0 Did I appreciate the crack of the bat and watching red baseball seams fly through the air?<\/p>\n

Yes, yes, yes, <\/em>I did.<\/p>\n

I always get a kick how you literally and figuratively get into whatever you’re doing – with zip and wham and boom and “I’m gonna try hard to be the best”unstoppable vigor.\u00a0\u00a0 You’re a full boat, jump-in-headfirst, no-holding back person –\u00a0 I love that about you.\u00a0 Camden Beaupre, you’re the Energizer, energizing yourself and everyone around you.<\/p>\n
